Instructor Training

If your company has a regular need for in-house training, especially if you run several sites, it can be a real advantage to have staff members trained as instructors. Our expert trainers will bring your team up to the right standard to pass the knowledge on. We also provide professional standard training for instrutors that work for training companies and colleges.

 

AITT Approved Training

There are four courses available that are designed for different levels of existing expertise. All our Instructors are fully AITT Approved and their training is accredited to AITT.

10 Day AITT Approved Instructor / Examiner Course

This is for new entrants with little or no previous experience of instructing or testing procedures.

Course Requirements

Prior to attending the course, each candidate must be in possession of a current operator’s test certificate of ‘basic operating skills’ for the type of machine nominated at time of course booking, issued within a period of twelve (12) months prior to the commencement of the course, this training must have been provided by a registrated ABA instructor.

5 Day AITT Approved Re-Registration / Direct Entry course

Designed for an existing instructor of  examiner who will instruct and examine on a continuous basis for either a training organisation or an individual company or transferring from one accrediting body to AITT.

Course Requirements

For candidates attending a re-registration or direct entry course this is the option of the Training Provider, however it is strongly recommended a refresher is provided prior to the commencement of the course.

3 Day AITT Approved Re-Registration

This is designed for an experienced instructor / examiner that carries out training on a continuous basis on behalf of a training provider accredited by AITT.

Course Requirements

For candidates attending a re-registration or direct entry course this is the option of the Training Provider however it is strongly recommended a refresher is provided prior to the commencement of the course.

5 Day ACOP Approved In House Instructor Course

To enable experienced operators to train and test for their employer internally

Course Requirements

 Candidates should have received training and post-training experience on the type of truck to be used as an  operator. They must have knowledge of and familiarity with conditions in the industry where the trainees will work and expertise in any requirements particular to the operation of the truck(s) and in the work trainees will be expected to do.
